The V-day vibe is completely different when you’re coupled up
Valentine’s day usually doesn’t even cross my mind and here I am thinking about it as soon as I wake up!
I’m not expecting too much from my bf. In fact, the right thing to do is for us both to carry our load in making v-day special. But, more than anything, I think it should be a time where we acknowledge that we care for each other and how we both make a special contribution to each other’s lives.
BF, don’t worry too much about making v-day special. Not only is it early days, and going all out would be slightly kitsch and ridiculous, we don’t yet have the history for the day to really mean something. At this point its just kinda like going through the motions.
So just let me know that I’m special and that you care about me, and I’ll be sanctified and satisfied. I’ll do the same ❤️ (and maybe send me some money for a good meal 🤣🤣🤣)
